Ivan Hagen joined Thomas D. Wood and Company in 2007 as Assistant Vice President, where he is responsible for the origination and analysis of commercial real estate loans.  Prior to joining Thomas D. Wood and Company, Mr. Hagen worked in the banking industry, financing income-producing commercial real estate properties in the state of Florida.

Mr. Hagen is a native of Venezuela, and moved to Miami in 1997.  Mr. Hagen graduated from The University of Miami in 2003 with a BBA in International Finance and Marketing.  He graduated from the first class of the Masters in Science in International Real Estate (MSIRE) from Florida International University in 2006.
