Steven Hayes Wood is the Chief Operating Officer for Thomas D. Wood and Company.  Steve manages the origination, underwriting and placement of income property loans with various institutional investors.  In addition, he is responsible for developing and maintaining investor and realestate owner relationships.

Mr. Wood is a Commercial Real Estate Associate with Colliers Abood Wood-Fay Real Estate Group.

Mr. Wood is also the Director, President and Chief Executive Officer of Skymar Capital Corporation.  Steve manages the origination of commercial mortgages through a national correspondent network and the placement of loans with various investors.

Prior to Skymar, Steve was Vice President of John Alden Asset Management Company, a registered investment advisor.  While at John Alden, Steve served as a member of the real estate investment committee and was responsible for the purchase and sale of commercial loan portfolios, commercial loan originations and the management of client mortgage portfolios.  Before that, Steve was involved in the commercial mortgage banking business in Miami since 1980.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Auburn University, 1980 and a Master of Science Degree in Management from Florida International University, 1984.  He is a licensed Florida Mortgage Broker and a licensed Florida Real Estate Salesman.
