William C. Schuss is a Vice President and Sr. Director of Small Balance Apartment Loan Program for Thomas D. Wood and Company. Mr. Schuss is responsible for the continued development and loan production of small apartment loan programs and maintains business development relationships with various small balance correspondent lenders and REITs.

Mr. Schuss also specializes in Business/Revolver Lines of Credits for companies experiencing hyper-growth or seeking capital to expand within their industry.

From 1999 to 2003, Mr. Schuss worked for JP Morgan Chase, the nation's third largest bank. Mr. Schuss was responsible for new business development within the Retail Residential Division and marketing JP Morgan Chase products for new loan production opportunities. Mr. Schuss originated, structured, underwrote and closed in excess of $100 million in residential mortgages during this time period From 1993 until 1998, Mr. Schuss served as the founding President and CEO of Medi-Transportation of South Florida. Medi-Transportation was an independent ambulatory transportation company servicing Miami-Dade and Broward county hospitals, HMOs and private insurance companies. His company was later purchased in a consolidated merger to Coach USA. Mr. Schuss served as CEO for Coach USA until the completion of his management contract in 1999.

Mr. Schuss has been very involved in community and civic organizations and professional affiliations. He has been involved in the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce. He has also served on the Board of Directors for the Brothers to the Rescue since it inception in 1989. His professional affiliations include the Mortgage Brokers Association, Mortgage Bankers Association, and Cuban National American Association.
