August 2, 2007 Thomas D. Wood and Company Arranges $11,000,000 to Finance Cargil International Warehouse in Miami, Florida

Miami, Florida—August 2, 2007—

Marshall Smith, Executive Vice President for Thomas D. Wood and Company, arranged financing in the amount of $11,000,000 for the Cargil International warehouse located in Miami, Florida.  Smith refinanced the loan with Woodmen of the World Life Insurance Company, one of Thomas D. Wood and Company’s correspondent lenders, at a permanent fixed rate of 6.13% with a 10-year term and 25-year amortization.  The warehouse was originally built in 1961, and expanded by an additional 100,000 square-feet in 1998 to its current size of 237,000 square-feet.  The warehouse is home to major tenants Cargil International and Bijoux Terner, and is located at 6950 NW 77 Court, Miami, Florida.
