John Worrell joined Thomas D. Wood & company in 2006 as an Assistant Vice President in the Orlando office.  His responsibilities include underwriting, analyzing, originating and placing real estate debt.

Prior to joining Thomas D. Wood & Company, Mr. Worrell served as a licensed Florida Real Estate Sales Associate for RealNet USA in Melbourne, Florida, where he negotiated purchase contracts for real estate properties on behalf of a group of investors.

Mr. Worrell is a licensed Florida Mortgage Broker.  He attended Florida State University, where he majored in economics. 

Mr. Worrell currently serves as the chair of the membership committee for the NAIOP Developing Leaders Board.  He is also on the charity event committee for the National Kidney Foundation (NKF).  He is a native Floridian, born and raised in Winter Park.
